Software specialist Grouptree have partnered with KUMI, a specialist in responsible business in global supply chains, to create a new solution that combines Kumi’s on-the-ground experience in global supply chains with Grouptree’s expertise in sustainability software.

Many legacy systems are inflexible, not built for the unique requirements of sustainability risks, and treat supplier due diligence as a transactional relationship. Origin Core is different. It has been created with a single focus; to give businesses of any size a flexible solution to manage supply chain due diligence and help build lasting supplier relationships.

Origin Core is a modular, open platform that can be integrated into existing risk workflows and scaled for companies of any size, bringing together supply chain data into one easy-to-manage space.

At the heart of the solution are Kumi’s consultants, who use their supply chain expertise to integrate existing assurance methodologies, questionnaires, workflows, improvement plans, policies, training, and much more into the powerful Origin platform.

The platform has been built from the ground up for sustainability to help track risks and manage compliance with all current and future due diligence regulations, including the German Supply Chain Act (LkSG), the Norwegian Supply Chain Transparency Act, and the forthcoming European Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CS3D).
